Food: The dogs are fed a holistic lamb/brown rice diet from Earth Options – this company has a refund plan on their recyclable food bags! Website
Treats such as Milkbones and duck breast jerky are bought in bulk and the containers recycled. Our dogs get free range eggs (our own).
Waste: As we live on a parcel of land that is 63 acres we are able to take our buckets of poop out for natural composting.
Laundry: We use Arm & Hammer Essentials laundry soap which uses biodegradable plant based soaps (and incidentally has been the best for getting the doggy smell out of bedding and towels); we use laundry balls in the dryer in the winter instead of softening sheets and hang dry on the line during the summer months.
