Puppy base prices for pups born in 2012
The following prices are for pups sold on a CKC non-breeding contract for companion pets - not show dogs - prices are for male or female. GST will be added to all prices. (If you are interested in showing your dog please enquire.)
Unfortunately I have had to increase my base price as of January 2012 - I have been breeding Westies since 2005 and have not yet broke even in my costs, that along with the fact that our town has a new vet practice with almost double the cost of base fees for their service as my previous vet, has left me no option. if I want to keep the best vet, feed and housing for all my Westies.

photos of the adults and view their pedigrees. My Westies are beautiful and I offer an optional two-year written health gurantee. I list my prices as I offer the same price to everyone.
I can offer a lower base price by making three packages optional add ons rather than being included in the price as they were previously. All three packages are excellent value.
HEALTH GUARANTEE $100: Two-year written health and temperament guarantee.
PAPERWORK $50: File folder with paperwork neatly arranged for you; puppy baby photos and 3 generation pedigree. (Pedigrees currently cost non CKC members $46)
FUN EXTRAS $50: Stylish extra-large “Dunsbairn Westies” tote bag which is unique in that the Dunsbairn kennel name is registered with the CKC; tartan blanket and usually an extra item or two such as a toy or book on puppy raising.
You must decide which packages you want prior to or no later than at the time of sale. (Paperwork files can take me an hour or so to prepare so prior to sale is preferable than having you wait whilst I do up this service) Packages can not be added at a later date due to increased costs and workload.
What you get with the base price:
* Puppy - registered with the CKC on a non-breeding agreement
(you agree that you will have your puppy spayed or neutered before 7 months - at your 
expense.)
* Registration Certificate from the CKC - sent onto you once received.
* Usually get some say in choice of Registered CKC kennel name.
* Dew claws removed
* Vaccination and health check by Vet 7 - 8 weeks (Distemper, Hepatitis,Parainfluenza and Parvovirus) - need to check with your local vet if additional shots are required in your area.
* De-worming X 2
* Micro-chipped
* Eukanuba/Iams trial package (no food) - provided free to CKC breeders to give to puppy owners.
* Pet's First trial package with food sample (Earth Options Lamb/Brown rice) and a $10 coupon.
* Standard 3-day health guarantee.
* Access to my Westie Rescue facility for the life of your dog should you ever need to give up your dog for ANY reason.
I have been pleased in the past to offer the full service with my puppy sales and most of my customers have been delighted with the high level of service and extras – but I do understand that some people may be looking for a bargain during these current difficult economic times.

I sell puppies after one set of shots and examination by a vet at approximately eight weeks of age - for pick up at my home. I would keep a slower pup with the mother for additional time if it appears necessary.
