I am heartbroken to announce the passing of Raven.
Dunsbairn Westies was delighted to add Raven to our breeding program in the spring of 2008.
Raven was an extremely affectionate little girl and had the cutest little body shape and a way of walking around that I ever saw. I was so looking forward to breeding her with Chip and was in fact in the middle of a session of AI with her at the vets.
She sadly choked to death on a piece of cheese - we did everything we could to save her.
She was such a sweet little dog and I am glad to have had her in our lives for the time we did.
This photo of her by the fireplace was taken on October 1, her and Chip just got up there and posed like they wanted to have their photo taken. She was such a gentle lady-like little girl.
On holiday at a family reunion in '08 - I took Raven and Duncan this holiday - here she is held by my aunt visiting from England.
