People listed will receive a birth announcement email or phone call if there are puppies born not already spoken for on the waiting list to see if they are still interested in buying a puppy at that time. A place on this list will not hold a puppy - for that I need a firm commitment and a deposit to go on the Waiting list ---->
There is no commitment required to be on this mailing list. Pre-approved in bold text.

Please Note:I took off many names after trying to contact in October 2010 for the Ruby X Duncan litter. If you notice your name is missing and would like to be put back on - please just give me a call or email - I didn't throw out your approval forms - but the many names were putting new people off - when I got a hold of many people they had already bought a pup elsewhere due to my only having one litter in 2009.
Please ensure that your name has been put on one of my lists.
If you have emailed requesting your name be placed on one of my lists and you do not see your name listed below please phone to make sure you have not been missed or blocked by my junk-mail filter. My number is 780-524-4811
Dunsbairn 2012 waiting list
This list requires a $200 non refundable* deposit and
a firm commitment to purchase from approved customers.
The order in which you commit to this list is the order in
which you get to choose your puppy from those offered as companion pet quality. I may choose to keep a puppy for a potential breeding dog or may feel a puppy is suitable to be offered as a show dog then he or she will be pulled from the choice pool. Decisions are not made until after vet inspection at around seven weeks.
I require people to have owned a terrier before (any kind) OR to have read my page "Things to Consider....."
AND to have filled out my approval questions form or otherwise have provided me with this information.
You may be pre-approved for this list without a deposit by filling out this form: Approval of New Owners Information Form however you will not actually be placed on the waiting list without the commitment of the deposit, unless you have previously bought a dog from me.
* Please note I DO refund if no healthy puppy of the specified gender is born by a mutually agreed upon date. I do not refund for 'changing mind' about buying a puppy, however will hold deposit for a later litter, if a puppy is available, should a change in circumstances make you unable to take a puppy when you had first planned. Please be assured, that if you are dissatisfied with the housing conditions of my adult dogs, or don't feel that they look happy, healthy or cared for when you come to pick up your puppy - I will be refund your deposit on the spot - of course I hold the same right - if you don't seem to interact well the the puppy I too can cancel the deal. Please be aware that we live with many dogs in our house at the same time and two kids - don't expect hospital levels of orderliness especially during mud seasons. I have kennels that I use to separate dogs in groups e.g. dogs I don't want bred are grouped with my altered dogs, but they all get turns in the house as of course that is where they all want to be. You are welcome to see the kennel too.
Please note that you will be released from your commitment after the agreed upon date for a litter if there is not a puppy for you and your deposit will be refunded. However, should you then decide to be placed on a later list, you will be put at the next available puppy choice spot. If your expiry date is longer to begin with you will be placed to the top of the list of the next available litter within your time frame and choice of mother. (Please see the contact info tab for current prices).
I am trying to develop policies that are fair to all and at the same time be transparent in my dealings.
(2) Shelly & Ken B. - female prefered - flexible on mother
(3) Jacqueline G. (female preferred)
(4) Wee & Nikki M. (thinking of a second pup from Dunsbairn to be a friend for Angel)
Brinkly will be 12 on Feb/11, I will require supportive documentation from my vet to register pups born to him after his birthday. I am trying desperately to get some pups to keep from him so have him paired up with Macy. Fingers crossed.
Jewel was in heat at the end of June/10 - but the breeding attempt was unsucessful. Will try again on her next heat which is 4-6 months later.

The situation as of January 23rd 2012
...this year's game plan :-)
These are my dogs but the game plan changes monthly :-)
Maggie
After two years and six unsuccessful attempts with Chip (with three different females) over the past two years with AI at the vets, I have decided to just keep him exclusively with Gemma and see if anything happens naturally this year.
Rozi
There is a good chance that Duncan will be able to breed with Jewel this summer. I may try him with Maggie - not sure at this time
Duncan
I am hoping for pups from Duncan with Rozi and Lilly. Both girls are getting quite old for their first litters as they will be four this summer. The old boys Brinkly and Chip did not come through as planned.
Please note that I plan a lot of litters because my sucess rate is so low - I average two litters per year.
